Referral of Patients for Investigation.*

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology services are available to the dental profession on a referral basis. These services include making and interpreting of radiographs of patients referred by their dental practitioner. To make appointments for such services, the referring practitioner's office should contact Dr. Axel Ruprecht directly, to ensure that the appropriate time and investigation are scheduled. The radiographs and a radiology report will be sent to the referring practitioner.

Referral of Radiographs of Patients for Investigation.

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology services are available to the dental profession on a referral basis. These services include interpreting of radiographs of patients made by the referring practitioner and sent in for a second opinion. Such radiographs should be accompanied by the name, age and sex of the patient, the chief complaint, if appropriate, a history, and instructions as to where reports and the bill should be sent.

* Referral of Patients for CT Investigation for Implants.

2D orthoradial (cross-sectional) computed tomography (CT) investigations for dental implants are also available. These will be carried out in the Department of Radiology, UIHC. Appointment for such investigations should be made through the CT scheduling desk in the Department of Radiology, UIHC.
